Ronni Wolf, MD received his medical degree from the Faculty of Medicine of Bonn University, Germany and completed his dermatology training in the Department of Dermatology, Beilinson Hospital, Petah-Tiqva, Israel. He is Associate Clinical Professor of Dermatology Emeritus at the Hebrew University School of Medicine, Jerusalem, Israel and former Head of the Dermatology Unit of the Kaplan Medical Center, Rehovot, Israel. He is currently in private practice in Tel Aviv, Israel. He has received international recognition through the eponymic “Wolf’s isotopic response.”
In addition to serving on the Editorial Board of Clinics in Dermatology, for which he has guest edited several issues, including the series on Controversies, he is an editorial board member of SKINmed, Acta Dermatovenerologica Croatia, and Journal of the Turkish Academy of Dermatology. He previously participated as an Editorial Board member of the: Journal of the American Academy of Dermatology, International Journal of Dermatology, and Journal of the European Academy of Dermatology and Venereology. Doctor Wolf has edited 24 books and monographs, has written 370 publications in peer reviewed scientific journals, and has had over 80 invited presentations in scientific meetings. His areas of interest: adverse drug eruptions, emergency dermatology, immunodermatology, and contact dermatitis.
He is a member of the Israel Society of Dermatology and Venereology, American Academy of Dermatology, European Academy of Dermatology and Venereology, International Society of Dermatology (former Board of Directors), International Academy of Cosmetic Dermatology (Board of Directors) and honorary member of both the Macedonian Dermatology Association and the Turkish Academy of Dermatology.
