Doctor Hirak Routh received his medical degree from Mymensingh Medical College in Bangladesh, where he also did post-graduate training. He then worked for the Ministry of Health in Iran before coming to Philadelphia to study dermatology at the Jefferson Center for International Dermatology at Thomas Jefferson University.
He is currently Senior Vice-President at Paddington Testing Company, Inc. in Philadelphia, where he has conducted numerous clinical trials in all phases of development of dermatologics. He has published on a variety of subjects ranging from tropical dermatology to balneology and from the history of the usage of soap to traditional Indian medicine.
