The Ethics of War, Pharmaceutical Companies, and Prescriptions

      Recently, a drug rep from one of the pharma companies came to my office (JG-K) advocating for me to write prescriptions for their newest medication. Internet research revealed that their company continues to have a strong presence in drug manufacturing and distribution in Russia. Is it ethical to prescribe this new product while Russia is at war with Ukraine, when efficacious alternatives from other companies boycotting Russia are available?
