Welcome to this issue of Clinics in Dermatology titled “Potpourri II.” We are pleased to present herein a wonderful potpourri of
dermatology contributions, which hopefully you will find interesting and informative.
The French term “potpourri” often describes a mixture of flowers, herbs, and spices
that is kept in a jar or bowl and used for fragrance. To set the tone for this issue,
we present Figure 1, which features the 1899 painting by Edwin Austin Abbey (1852-1911) called Potpourri. Abbey was a noted American painter and illustrator who moved to England in 1878
and settled permanently there in 1883. His painting Potpourri is considered to be one of his most outstanding masterpieces.
